    Interview

Hi my name is Darcy and I'm currently in a police foundation program. One of my classes is asking me to do an interview with a police officer, and where I live it seems that none of the police men is willing to give a few minutes to answer theses questions. That’s why I'm here, so if anyone wants to help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Here are the 15 questions that I would like for you to respond to.

    1. Why did you choose this career?
    2. Why did you choose the O.P.P? (The chances of you being an O.P.P in this forum might be very slim so you can just put your choice.)
    3. How did you get in the O.P.P?
    4. What are the challenges of being a cop?
    5. What are the advantages of being a cop?
    6. Can you describe one of the hardest days on duty?
    7. Is being a cop affecting your family?
    8. Did it take awhile to get to your current position?
    9. Did you have to travel a lot?
    10. Is there any other job other than being a cop that seems appealing?
    11. Is being a cop more group work or solo work?
    12. What are the family benefits as a police officer?
    13. Is there any sort of monthly physical exams?
    14. Being an officer does it affect your social life, your friend’s relationships?
    15. What are the advantages and inconvenience when you wear the police gear?

Thank you very much, there is some personal questions so it may be possible that no one will be willing to answer directly on the forum, if you would prefer to respond directly to my e-mail address please do so. Thank you once again!

    Darcy,

You need to turn off your computer and go to a police station and ask to interview a police officer. You will get much more out of it and the back and forth conversation between you and an officer will be more rewarding. No one here has any desire to sit for a length of time and write out answers that you can copy and paste. We are constantly being asked here to do homework assignments and it gets old. Besides, are you going to tell your teacher that you got the answers from some anonymous cop on the Internet?

    Good luck
Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack & Michelle Obama do with mine

    Darcy;

You will not get an officers real name or dept with your " interview". Actually , it would be a chat. I amn sure your teacher / instructor would wonder where you came up with some guy who claims to be a cop named " mcsap" who answered your questions.

Do a REAL interview with a police offcier in your area by calling and asking to meet with them. You will get a local flavor to your answers , the officer's real name and real dept.
