    Tickets in Parking Lots

I got in an accident in a grocery store parking lot in Sandy, Utah and was given a ticket for "failure to yeild" while I was pulling out of a parking stall (the other car involved was going over the posted speed limit in the lot). Was it lawful for me to get the ticket? Any advice would be great!

I may be making a huge leap here, but I would suspect that the officer giving you the citation is versed in the laws of Utah. They generally have training regarding stuff like that.

You can always go to court and find out for sure.....
Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack & Michelle Obama do with mine

You want us to say it wasn't lawful, don't you?

That would imply that Cops in Utah don't know what they are doing.

    Your out of luck.

So if you could see the other car, and knew it was going over the speed limit, why didn't you yield? :wtf:
