hey guys,
i have a c6 corvette. i bought some extremely loud exhaust, i only had it one there a week beacause it was so loud. but none the less i was going to a club and i did give it a little gas and a cop of foot went to his car and came and found me and gave me a ticket for exhibition of acceleration. it wasnt near as bad as he wrote on the ticket and tried to explain to him my eshaust is just way to loud. i have to go to court tomorrow for it, i can pay t out of court. will i lose my license? should i just plead guilty or nolo or fight it? i dont want to lose my license. what is the best action here?

Nothing like waiting for the last minute to ask for advice/help.....
Tell your story to the judge and see waht happens. Sounds like a charge that results in a nice fine if you are foudn guilty.-In God we trust. All others, put your hands on the car and don't move.

For one thing, you didn't post what state you live in. We all don't live where you live and laws are different from state to state. In my state that citation is for rapid acceleration which means you didn't have to exceed the speed limit, simply that you accelerated at a rate that was unnecessary and was simply show boating. Simple moving violation with a fine around $120.
