A Christmas gift for the boss..

Other than being a cheapskate and a moocher my boss was a nice guy.
He would always hold back and expect someone else in the crowd to leave the tip and pick up the tab whether in a hamburger joint or a nice restaurant.
He would ask (tell) the agents in the field during the growing season to bring him bushels of peaches, watermelons, lima beans, Claxton fruit cakes, cases of fig preserves and you name it.
Then, when these gifts were brought to him he would never offer to reimburse the guys for the expenses involved. A bushel of peaches, case of preserves or a box of Claxton fruit cakes doesn't run cheap.
One night the boss had a party at his house and the wife of the guy who provided the preserves got a little tipsy and cussed him out for not offering to pay her husband for the cases of various jams, jellies and preserves he had been providing over the years.

He would send his brown nosing secretary through the office right after Thanksgiving with a clipboard and sheet of paper having the names of all the office personnel and and how much each person donated toward the gift.
These gifts weren't cheap and sometimes ran a thousand bucks or more. He was a big gun enthusiast and most years wanted expensive weapons to add to his collection such as an engraved Glock or a gold inlaid Mossberg shotgun, etc. I told my secretary the only gift I wanted was a Christmas card.

You boss is a female cleaning product. Wow! That stuff would never happen in my office. Not only is it illegal, we would have tossed the boss out a long time ago.
