NUCPS Supervision Course

I was thinking about taking the NUCPS Supervison of Police Personnel on-line course. Has anyone taken this course and found it useful?

The class looks good ?

I got the book Management and Supervision of Law Enforcement Personnel from Gould Publications because I was not sent to a supervision class. It is a good book, it may be just as helpful and much cheaper.

Our Sgt.s get sent to a 3 week course in police supervision. not sure exactly how it helps, I've worked for quite a few supervisors and I think its either something your good at or not. Some people know how to lead, others just bury there heads in the sand.
