Just noticed a local cop watch group is positioning themselves at local malls and challenging code of conducts and following local guards. Correct me if I'm wrong but Property owners have the right to refuse service and determine how customers will conduct themselves while on the property. What can be done regarding video taping of mall employees in cases such as these? This is not public property and most shopping centers have a no still / video photography policy. Can the guard or client force deletion of the video to prevent YouTube or other disturbution? This is California but interested in other opinions of the law.
