Do you think I got the Job? Walmart Asset Protection.

I was Recently interviewed by the Asset Protection manager of walmart , here in atlanta. When I went to the store, some guy came out and escorted me back to the back of walmart. He took me back to the employee lounge, Where this woman named Jamie AP manager, and some other random man who was in the room were. They talked to me, asked me questions about how I helped my old employer. I used to be assisstant manager of a AT&T Wireless store and have a 2 yr degree in business. She had me sign all the papers , allowing them to do backround stuff and what not. She asked me If i could start soon, I said yes. She went over a lot of stuff with me. To my suprise, she told me she just got promoted, and that she would help me take her old position if I worked hard. She talked to me about the job for about 1 hour, but she kept mentioning how her old position was about to be open, and that there was only 1 other AP person working at this store other than her. I told her I would do my best to work for her old position. At the end of the interview, she said she was going to be going out of town, and she won't be back for 2 weeks. But she told me not to be discouraged or think she forgot about me. What does this mean? Do you think I got the job? She said she would be hiring someone when she got back. So it's not like she specifically said, you have the job.

There is no way we can possibly know. I guess you will just have to wait. You might want to keep applying until you have the " bird in the hand ".

During those two weeks vacation out of town she'll probably be in the monitor room scoping out all the new hires and how they behave, so did you get the job?
