Loved Sarah Palin's Response to Obama's Winning The Future (WTF)

“His theme last night was wtf, winning the future,” she continued. “I thought, okay, that acronym - spot on. There were a lot of wtf moments throughout that speech.”

Palin, seemingly pleased with her joke, repeated the line later in the interview while poking Obama for referencing Sputnik in another section of his address.

“That was another wtf moment,” she said.

Loved it and while I think she is a bit squirrely at times (no offense, Greg) this was spot on. I cracked up for quite a few minutes driving to work when I heard the soundbite.

I loved it too! Gotta make you wonder if the speech writers and Nobama had even the slightest clue that their newest "catch phrase" initials were a common inquisition as to what they are doing!

Ever more proof that the guy is clueless....

I missed that from her, LOL!! Thanks for letting us know. While I still worry about Palin's lack of international experience, there are other things I downright admire about her and relate with her about. Her rugged individualism and self-sufficiency for one. Her business acumen is better than most all the men's except for Romney and Daniels. And I have absolutely no doubt she understands the concept better than liberals that bad guys only respect strength. And I have absolutely no doubt she would have the kahones to back up any threat she uttered.

My ideal candidate would be someone who served in the military and traveled or was stationed overseas (and therefore understands THAT big picture); someone who has extensive business experience to include entrepeneurial and executive experience; and someone who either by academic training or by reading/absorbing/studying the economy (which is not the same as finance because it's counterintuitive while finance is intuitive -which is why I think Trump is not a good candidate); and understanding the interconnectedness of the global financial, business, and economic world. Plus assuming they are of good character and show the ability to do unpopular, tough things.

And guess who comes closest to that description IMHO? Romney checks the box on all of that except for the military experience....but when I hear him talk about foreign policy, defense policy, national security issues....he absolutely grasps all of them extremely well without having personally served in the military.

He's also one heck of a nice person. But even having the best quals any candidate has out there, people get wound up in their little "one issue" worlds and there's enough of those type people that could keep someone this qualified from ever getting elected.

As for the complaint that he screwed up healthcare in Mass - I look at it just the opposite. He had the kahones to go with the experiment, which makes him even better qualified than anyone to know what healthcare 2.0 should look like.

I like other candidates like Mitch Daniels, Christie from NJ, and Palenty as well, but I believe Romney could really excel at putting our country on the right path. But I don't think he can make it through the primary hurdles with all the myopic, one issue activists out there.

Should I tell ya what I really think?
