This is a good video and song. The guy claims he was fired for writing it and sending it to the parents of his students. As I said, I like it, but I have no sympathy for him losing his job. If I got a pro Obama video from a coach or teacher using the email I gave the school, I'd be pissed too.
FWIW, a teacher here was canned for producing an anti-tea party web site using school computers and time.

During the Presidential Election, my then 8 year old kept coming home and telling us all kinds of stuff about Obama. Seems his teacher was pumping them with all kinds of political stuff then saying, 'go tell the parents!' Lets just say I was a bit miffed. Did I ever mention I'm a vocal guy?
There should be no politics in any kind of school or college. It is a place of learning, and well...politics in general will actually take some IQ points away. Kids in particular should be off limits...I wouldn't care what party was pushing the message.For me, before there was the Thin Blue Line, there was the Blood Stripe! Semper Fi!

I agree with what you said, RDS. Pro or Anti Obama... teachers should be doing their job - teaching. Not making politically oriented videos on the schools time.
