Ronald Reagan recorded this speech in 1961. Nearly 50 years ago. It has proven so accurate it could have been recorded yesterday.
The only thing he got wrong was his belief that our representatives would, in the end, follow their constituents' wants and desires, despite their party affiliation. He optimistically believed that the patriotism of elected officials would trump party ideology.
