However, I still fail to see how Tom Ridge's claims of being 'pressured', (which I think is mainly him over stating the issue in order to sell his new book), has to do with comparing the two Presidents in regards to whether we feel safer or not.

My plan is simple. I would crackdown on the borders (including Canadians...them and their "Canadian Bacon isn't ham" nonsense), bring jobs back by upgrading and expanding our manufacturing sector, restore LOD death benefits to pre-Obama levels, stop taxing our Active duty military members and colonize mars.


I would have Plazoo be my Secretary of Treasury, CoC my Sec. of State, let Creeker handle Defense and give Switchback Dept. of Homeland Security.

That's one thing I wish both of 'em did. Our borders are so... unsecured right now. Apparently there are nationals from everywhere comin' in through Mexico, not just Mexicans.

Do I really feel safer? I don't know... I don't feel the United States threatened right now. Maybe that's due to Bush's work on terrorism, I don't know enough about what goes on behind the scenes to make judgement on that.

Hey, I live and work in Arizona. I wish they'd lock it the eff down!!!! And you're completely right, it's not only Mexicans seeping through.

I am of the opinion that, keeping Al Qaeda and its ilk on the defensive overseas, definitely keeps them too busy to orchestrate another large scale attack on the continental U.S.
