On that note, the term "radical" seems to be getting more and more affiliated with those who do not agree with the current elected officials.

Its scary to think that people who are merely sticking to the Supreme Law of the Land are be classified as "radicals" by a government who fear their power.

Morely has to do with Beck, but some advertisers have pulled out completely for the time being. I'd like to see Sean do a segment on Beck's radicalism.

I didn't read your links, but I suspect this has to do with the Racist "Color of Change" website, which coincidentally was founded by the recently appointed "Czar" who was arrested during the Rodney King riots and came out of prison as a Communist... his own words. Beck has been launching against him.

Color of Change has claimed to have 75,000 signatures for a few different protests lately, so it must be true. :rolleyes:

Unfortunately for them, because an advertiser pulls their ad from a specific Fox commentary show but still airs their ad on Fox, it doesn't affect the show they are out to silence.

In fact, it may have the opposite affect, in that 912 groups are beginning a campaign against advertisers on MSNBC and CNN, which can hardly afford to bleed.

Radical right, radical left. Radical. A threat to the status quo. Cops, defenders of the status quo. Ergo cops should be opposed to radicals of the right or the left. I'm sure we are.

Here in the United States, our Founding Fathers were "radicals." One of two things was going to happen - either we were going to have a new nation free of the oppressions listed in the Declaration of Independence, or we were going to have a bunch of colonists killed for treason to the king.

Here, cops are sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution and we enforce codified law. We have nothing to do with "status quo." We SHOULD have nothing to do with status quo. If we did, we'd be responsible for silencing public voice which is directly contradictory to the First Amendment of our Constitution. Radical right or left thinkers are more than welcome here. It gives us healthy discussion and really keeps things in check, lest one group run rampant and be drunk with power.

So long as it's within the confines of the law to be so, I'm good with someone being a "radical." Probably more so because I'm now labeled as one due to my beliefs and the current government administration. :rolleyes:

While the NSA DID overstep its congressional authority with SOME of the taps, by and large, most Americans were not affected. Don't get me wrong, I AM pissed out the ones whose rights were violated. But unless you truly were wrongfully jailed or threatened with death for speaking out, then you are just spouting dogmatic hyperbole and should be ignored. You are no different than the blacks who are demanding repartitions for the injustices of slavery 145 years ago. :rolleyes:
