A document with RANDOMLY capitulated WORDS and excessive punctuation!!! is NOT going to CHANGE my MIND.
Then I guess sheeple will deserve whatever the Government decides they will allow them to have.
Some have the apparent conviction that they owe their rights to the Government allowing them to have Rights.
The page numbers, lines and sections are there as a reference to the exclamations.

So you already have your mind made up. That means you either read the bill, or you are just listening to what others are telling you. I've personally read some, but not all the bill which is more than I can say about Congress. Just what I've read of it, there is absolutely no way I'll support it.
We don't have any other successful Government programs so this one isn't going to be any different.

I hear they are going to step up security at the Townhall Meetings to control the right wing mobs. They're are going to have to leave their walkers and canes at the door.
I thought you were kidding, but you may be on to something. This video takes a second to load.

Of every one hundred men, ten should not even be here. Eighty are nothing but targets. Nine are real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the One... One of them is a Warrior... He will bring the others back.

Let no man's ghost say my training failed him.
I don't think you need to worry about that here, Outshined. I have gotten into some pretty heated political discussions on here and, not only was I not banned, the people I was ripping it with were grown up enough to joke along with me on a different thread. I have yet to see idealogical issues get in the way here unless the poster is just an ignorant a$$, who refuses to listen to other sides other than his/her own and goes out of their way to be a jerk.
So like the good Sergeant said....fire away!

If you see anybody publicly opposing President Obama’s plan to implement a government-centric overhaul of the health care system, the White House wants you to report that person (or persons) ASAP.
From the White House website:
Emphasis added. Of course, as we’ve seen in the health care debate to date, the term “disinformation” is used by the Obama White House as a catchall to describe any opposition to the President’s push for single-payer, government-run health care — meaning the White House wants to be informed of any forwarded emails or blog posts or any “casual conversations” that could be taken as opposition to their health care overhaul plan. There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.
The White House has, as yet, offered no explanation of what it is they plan to do with the tips on policy opposition they hope to receive from citizen informers.
Interestingly, as Jake Tapper pointed out on Twitter this morning, the title of that post on the White House is a quote from John Adams’ 1770 “Argument in Defense of the Soldiers in the Boston Massacre Trials.”

UPDATE: As Erick, one of RedState’s resident lawyers, points out here, this program may go beyond sinister and actually be a violation of current U.S. law.
Further, flag@whitehouse.gov is not currently subject to Freedom of Information Act requests — something a freedom-loving legislator (Jim DeMint? Tom Coburn? Paul Ryan? Eric Cantor?) should seek to correct at his or her earliest convenience

Protests, passions roiling town hall meeting on health care

Meeting turns contentious

What was intended to be a town hall discussion on President Barack Obama's health care reform proposal dissolved into a shouting match with shoving and scuffles in Ybor City tonight.
The event brought home to Tampa the recent phenomenon of angry opponents of Obama's proposal disrupting town hall meetings by Democratic members of Congress during the August recess.
This meeting was organized by Democratic state Rep. Betty Reed but was to include comments on the proposal by U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor, a strong supporter.
Castor tried to speak for nearly 15 minutes but the crowd drowned her out, chanting, "You work for us,'' "Tyranny, tyranny,'' and "Read the bill." She ultimately left the meeting early, further angering some attendees.
The problems began when a crowd of around 500, many of them recruited to attend by interest groups both for and against the proposal, sought to enter the meeting room. The room, in the offices of the Hillsborough County Children's Board on East Palm Avenue, has a capacity of only about 250.
Several hundred people, mostly opponents, wound up outside or packing a hallway leading into the meeting room. Some scuffled with members of the sponsoring groups who manned the doorway.
One man who said he was injured and intended to file a police complaint, Randy Arthur of Oldsmar, was outside the meeting room with his wife, Kathy Arthur, when organizers tried to close the doors.
She said he was slammed against a wall. He later talked to police officers, his knit shirt ripped and a few scratches visible on his chest.
Among the crowd outside, opponents and a smaller number of proponents got into occasional shouting matches.
After trying to speak, Castor left at about 6:40 p.m., taking jeers as she left.
"They're hiding from their constituents. She works for us and needs to listen,'' said Karen Jaroch, a Tampa homemaker and organizer for the 9-12 Project, set up by TV commentator Glenn Beck, which had recruited its members to attend.
Castor spokeswoman Ellen Gedalius said Castor left because her part of the event was finished.
"We said all along our role was to come and give an update on the bill in Congress,'' Gedalius said, noting that Reed, not Castor, organized and sponsored the meeting. "That's what Betty Reed asked us to do … and that's what we did.''
But Reed said afterward that she encouraged Castor to leave because, "She couldn't get a word through."
Gedalius noted that Castor will have a town hall meeting by telephone on Aug. 13 and that her office has been receiving hundreds of comments on the health care issue.
The meeting was organized by Reed plus the Service Employees International Union, other unions and Organizing for America, a liberal group that grew out of the Obama presidential campaign.
Some opponents accused the organizers of trying to stack the crowd by allowing early admission to those on their side. Reed denied that, saying those admitted early were organizers setting up the room.
In any case, opponents appeared to outnumber proponents both inside and outside.
After doors to the meeting room closed, some of those outside crowded around the windows of the meeting room, where they held up signs and chanted.
In the last week or so, similar disruptive protests have erupted at town hall meetings in several states.
Democrats, including White House spokesman Robert Gibbs, have said the disruptions were organized attacks aimed at Democrats by conservative, anti-health care reform interest groups. Several protestors at Thursday's meeting in Tampa angrily rejected that contention.
Castor's staff said Reed planned the meeting and invited Castor before the controversy became so heated.
Reed said she set up the meeting because, "I represent a number of people who ask questions about what's going on with health care, so I thought it would be good to put on a meeting and have the congresswoman come in and give an update."
Reed said she was shocked by the number of people who turned out and some of their reactions.
"When you get to the point of possible violence, you've gone over the edge," she said.
In a news conference prior to the town hall, Castor had said, "I do expect some rabble-rousing."
She said the protesters who have been appearing at town hall forums on health care "would have been protesting Medicare … they would never have accepted Social Security."
Tampa police spokeswoman Andrea Davis said the department was told a couple hundred people would show up and sent a squad of 10-15 officers, two marked cars, two supervisors and some undercover officers.
As the crowd grew, more were brought in – mainly for traffic control, she said, but they also broke up some scuffles.
She said no arrests were made.

ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH

UPDATE: St. Louis County police say six people were arrested. Two of those were arrested on suspicion of assault, one of resisting arrest and three on suspicion of committing peace disturbances. Carnahan was gone when the ruckus started.
Kenneth Gladney, a 38-year-old conservative activist from St. Louis, said he was attacked by some of those arrested as he handed out yellow flags with “Don't tread on me” printed on them. He spoke to the Post-Dispatch from the emergency room of the St. John's Mercy Medical Center, where he said he was waiting to be treated for injuries to his knee, back, elbow, shoulder and face that he suffered in the attack. Gladney, who is black, said one of his attackers, also a black man, used a racial slur against him before the attack started.
“It just seems there's no freedom of speech without being attacked,” he said.
MEHLVILLE -- St. Louis County police on Thursday arrested at least four people, including a Post-Dispatch reporter, outside a town hall forum held by Rep. Russ Carnahan, said Dawn Majors, a Post-Dispatch photojournalist who witnessed everything unfold.
It happened about 8:30 p.m at Bernard Middle School on Forder Road in Mehlville. Carnahan, D-St. Louis, had drawn a rowdy crowd that overflowed the school gym and left dozens of people outside. Many of those who showed up at what had been billed as a forum on aging carried signs about the national health-care debate.
Dozens of people were kept out because there was no room for them inside. Members of the local Tea Party Coalition, a movement that has emerged to counter President Barack Obama’s policies, had urged their members to attend, which in turn spurred Democrats to establish a strong presence.
The event was winding down when Majors said she saw a police squad car turn its lights on and went to see what was happening. As she approached it, her eyes started to burn.
“And that's when I realized I'd walked through remnants of pepper spray,” Majors said. She turned her attention to taking pictures.
She said she saw a woman in handcuffs who was complaining about the pain of the spray and asking to wash her face and eyes. The response of the officer who was arresting her was, “I warned you,” Majors said.
Majors said the woman had been speaking very loudly and passionately in support of health-care reform earlier in the evening.
“She made herself very visible,” Majors said.
She also saw a man handcuffed and on his stomach. The man kept asking why he was being arrested, Majors said. An officer nearby said she wasn't the arresting officer, but she would let him know later. That response upset the man on the ground, she said.
Another man was sitting on the ground rubbing his knee, but was not handcuffed. Majors said she heard an officer tell him that he would be taken to jail and booked.
She also saw Post-Dispatch reporter Jake Wagman, who was reporting on the event and shooting video for stltoday.com. He was standing on a sidewalk, taking video.
As she photographed everything, Majors said she heard Wagman yell her name and say that he was being arrested. She turned and saw he had been handcuffed and was being put in the back of a squad car. The officer said Wagman had been interfering, Majors said.
She said she did not see what led up to his arrest.
Efforts to get the police version of what happened have been unsuccessful as of 10 p.m.

I'm not saying it's a good or bad thing. I was just commenting on how the document was presented. Both have their good and bad sides. Right now you have a greedy insurance company stepping in front of your doctor. Soon it'll be a clueless government taking the place. I don't really care for the 'health for profit' thing.
However, someone once said that if you asked the Government to fill an ice tray, it would take 45 minutes, 300 dollars and 3 cubes would still be missing; and unfortunately that is all too true for our Government. While I would like to see a program akin to Australia's (both a strong private and good public option for those who cannot afford), we need to root out the massive political corruption and inefficiency of spending in Government before a system like this is viable.
I've seen videos of both Democrats and Republicans getting arrested for assaults at these debates. Maybe they should start having 'em on here instead.![]()
