I haven't really "bought into it", but it is interesting to follow and try to figure out what the man is hiding, because he's all about misdirection while he tries to destroy everything the Country has stood for over the last 200+ years and implement a Marxist Agenda, just as he was trained to do.

Since this man has come into Office, he's made the "Black Helicopter" crowd look a lot less crazy.

As for my time, since I've been retired, I have little more to do than keep from being bored.

From what I've gathered about this issue, the debate isn't whether he was born in the US (although there are those who argue that he actually wasn't) but whether he is a "naturally born citizen".

From the way I understand it, to be a naturally born citizen, both of your parents need to be US citizens at the time of your birth.

You can be born on US soil, and thus a "US citizen", but unless both of your parents are US citizens, you can not be a "naturally born citizen". My understanding of this is to prevent anyone holding the office of President to have loyalties to any country other than the US.

Soooo..even the the Emporer may have been born in Hawaii, if his father was a Kenyan citizen, then he wouldn't be a naturally born citzen and elgible for the presidency.

Personally, I don't know if this is the case or not but considering how much money Emporer Palpatine spent to hide his long form birth certificate away, it raises a couple eyebrows.

This was prior to, even back before he was a Senator, I am pretty sure.

Aside from that, I would think that the State Department would make sure he has a really special one with GPS in it... like he would actually be the one carrying it...:D

The US doesn't allow you to have duel citizenship but the US can't control what other countries allow.
For instance when I became a US citizen I had to renounce my Argentine citizenship.
Argentina says that once you're an Argentine citizen you are always an Argentine citizen. So yes I can say I'm no longer a citizen of Argentina by Argentina doesn't see it that way and there's nothing the US can do about it.

On or after 12/24/1952 & prior to 11/14/1986, a person born of one U.S. citizen parent & one alien parent & the citizen parent has been physically present in the U.S. or its outlying possesions 10 years, at least 5 of which were after age 14 derives U.S. citizenship, with no residency restrictions or requirements.

If any of this applies to his mother, then regardless of if he was born in Times Square, Hawaii or Moscow, with a U.S. birth certificate or one denoting he was born in Japan; he would've derived U.S. citizenship from his mother, the U.S. citizen parent.

Thus, if you're questioning his citizenship, determine if the mom met the requirements for which he would've derived citizenship. If she does, his Hawaiian birth cretificate or lack thereof, is moot in the eyes of the law.
