They can somehow find where abortion, affirmative action, and gay marriage are Constitutional rights but it has nothing to say when someone's firearms are illegally confiscated or eminent domain is used for private land usage which is a glaring violation of the Constitution. These are just a few issues mind you. If they were truly objective I would support them but they have become the ambulance chasers for the modern liberal party.

Now I think I'm more conservative than our President. He seems to LOVE to spend money.

I also thought Conservatives wanted the Big Government to stay out of peoples lives as much as it could. Well, crap! Now we've got domestic spying, abortion is under attack, and the Constitution has turned into a negotiable document.

Yes, I'm way more conservative than our President. :D

Just to butt in here.

I don't get into Politics as such and I see merit in some of each side. I probably play devil's advocate too much.

What I would like to say though is I am very impressed that this thread started, was then supported (although it was actually started as a bit of humour) and then some opposed it (most notably Oscar Mitre) and then a DEBATE ensued. I use the word debate and not name calling and mud slinging. Well done people. Mature debating and no name calling.

I will sit back down now and continue to learn. Thank you.

People are fairly respectful of other opinions here George - the word "tolerance" has a meaning for everyone and it's practised - I concur heartily with your sentiments.
