I don't like it. These young adults are in the country illegally. I can understand not hammering them when they are juveniles, but these are adults. They know they are here illegally and they should be made to leave the country. Heck I'm all for having them leave the country without prejudice, meaning they leave but don't have the stigma of being an illegal when it comes to applying for a visa. If they are kicked out they are barred form reentry for five years. That can be waived since they voluntarily requested removal. I can understand not going specifically after them, that's called discretion. That is not what Obama is doing. He is allowing them to obtain a work visa so they can stay. The problem comes up what do you do with these people in 2 years when their work visa expires? Do you simply keep extending them until they die? Do you extend them until they have a child in the country and are eligible to stay and adjust status to an LPR? Do you throw them out at the end of two years?
They are not a new source of tax revenue. They are not a source of recruits for the military. They are taking jobs away from people who are in the country legally and who are US citizens.
But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new guards for their future security.
Translation for the intellectually challenged: If the government screws the people too much, it is the right and duty of the people to revolt and form a new government.
