In addition to being a natural born citizen, at least 35 years of age and a 14 year resident of the US do you believe a presidential candidate should also be required to pass an FBI background check prior to being authorized to run for the presidency?

I think it should go further, and require them to go through the process for a TS clearance. They will be receiving that level of information so I don't think we should just grant them one because they get elected.

Yeah - seems like it. When I was in the Military I had a TS w/lifestyle Poly, they dug into everything and my relatives everything.
My question is this: Those that have access to the POTUS are required to have a "Yankee White" background check.....Does not make sense the POTUS isn't cleared to speak to himself?Before removing the mote from thy neighbors eye; attend to a beam of thine own.
