    Looking for Taser M26 Charger

    Hello all-

I was issued a Taser M26 for duty use, but there are only a few chargers available to Taser operators, which results in sharing chargers placed throughout the office.

As you can probably guess, pretty often Murphy's Law kicks in and everyone seems to need to charge the batteries at the same time. And of course, the department will take forever and a day to get more chargers in.

So, if anyone out there has a charger for the M26 that they no longer use, perhaps after upgrading to the X26, I would love to pick one up. Obviously, if your department owns the charger and will come knocking on my door for asking it back, I'll pass.

As you can see, I'm verified LEO and will have the charger shipped directly to my HQ address if you'd like. Please PM if you have one and what it will cost me. I'll then get back to you for address etc.

    Thanks.

Doesn't the M26 just use AA batteries? Why not get the photo ones and a seperate charger? Maybe I am missing something. We really don't use the M26s any more, relying predominantly on the X26s.

Ha! You are very correct indeed. We use rechargeable AA batteries, so standard charger would work, but the Taser chrager would certainly be more convenient.

As I mentioned, the charger would shared among operators as the other ones are. Each battery pack is labeled with the operators name, so it's easy to pick yours out of there is a few packs on the desk. If we each had eight individulal batteries to rolling around on the desk, it might get a bit cluttered or guys might start losing batteries.

OR, maybe the departmemnt could just BUY SOME MORE CHARGERS!!

    Nah, that's too easy.
