Does anyone know of a camo (woodland camo) BDU manufacturer whose product is flame resistant? There is a grant available for the purchase of BDU's, but they have to be flame resistant to qualify for purchase under the grant.

If my memory serves me correctly, the military issue gear is all flame resistant.
I can't find anywhere that states that they are though. US Cav has them, maybe you could give the customer service a ring and they could tell you.

That 'resistance' I believe has a warning on the label saying the first time you wash them it's less resistant. Find a place that sells nomex bdu's my best bet.

Just spoke with the old man (career Army) and he says regular BDUs are NOT flame resistant.
They do make BDUs that are and they're made specifically for fuel handlers(choppers, aircraft, tankers, etc). They're heavier than the normal BDU and might be uncomfortable for what a LE agency is looking to use them for.
Nomex might be your best bet as far as weight and comfort.

I know 511 makes a flame resistant type pant not sure if they are camo or not.
Thanks guys, that's more than I had before.
