NYPD Gear

I am starting the July 2007 academy and am hoping to work out getting either the cadet uniforms or eventually the official NYPD uniforms. Obviously I would need the cadet uniforms well before the others.

Jacket: 44R
Shirt: 17 x 34/35
Pants: 36/34

You need to clarify your terminology. NYPD has a cadet program and they have police officers. If you are going to be hired for police officer, you are a police RECRUIT and need to get the RECRUIT unifomr/equipment. If youa re are going into the cade program....you need CADET stuff.

Figure out what your doing! Second...if yoru a recruit...YOU PAY THE NYPD the $700 or so money order, and they give you the uniforms. You then can buy extras, whihc I recommend! I had 5 shirts and 3 pants and my life was very easy during the week.
