Welcome aboard! We're glad to have you...
I need to tell you, though, that we have a pretty strict rule here about user names. Anyone with a user name that claims to be a Law Enforcement Officer (or who otherwise claims such status) needs to get "verified" by the site.
This gives the LEO's access to the restricted area and earns them a nifty "Verified LEO" tag under their name to eliminate any confusion in our membership about who is or is not a cop.
So, what I need you to do is tell me if you meet the requirements listed here.
If you do, then head over to the "Restricted Areas" section here and follow the directions for getting verified.
If you don't meet the requirements, it's not a problem. Just send me a PM with a different screen name, and we'll get you switched over...

This site prohibits the use of usernames that imply one is a LEO without them being verified, which I'm happy to help accomplish for you if you are a LEO. If you work in LE, send me a private message with your name, rank, department and contact info and I'll get you verified promptly (this will also grant you access to our LE restricted forums of the site).
