The problem with your opinion, Andrew, it does not follow the law in our society. Molestation as disturbing as it is, is not a capital crime. Heavy punishment is already in place, decades in jail, but they're still possibilities of parole. That being said, the problem with the justice system is what happens after the prison term is carried out.
By the way you described multiple crimes and some are obviously more severe than others.
Megan's Law forces registration but it is broken all the time. As a society we still have a problem with offenders in our society. They have children, jobs and the ability to walk in common shopping centers. We have accepted this level of risk in our society; what do we do to further lower it?
