    Looking for a new flashlight

Alright my STREAMLIGHT decided to walk off on its own and into someone’s pocket. O well, it served its purpose with over eight years of use and only had to buy new batteries for it once. Do you guys have any suggestions for the replacement? It must be compact, bright, and light….other than that I am open to suggestions.,

I've got a Streamlight Scorpion and LOVE it. The small size, tail switch, and rubber grip was exactly what I was looking for. Mine was about $38 at a local police supply shop. I liked the incandesent better than the LED. The bluish light doesn't seem as bright to me. The head does get hot if you keep it on for extended periods. The only real drawback is battery life. I found a box of 12 Surefire brand 123A's for $28, so you can find them for reasonable prices if you shop around.

The only thing I don't like about the scorpion is that when the battery goes, it goes. Nothing more flustrating that using your flashlight 10 minutes beforehand and when you go to use it again, it doesn't turn on.
Excuse me Officer, I have a stupid Question. "No problem, I've got a stupid answer for you!"

I buy MINI Maglites the way some women buy shoes. I have at least 8 or 9 somewhere around my condo, and at least 2 or 3 in my car. LOVE those little suckers. Oh wait, plus I have one really huge flashlight but have no idea what brand it is.

I dont think you can beat the power of these little lights, but the price has really drawn me to them. 80 for the dual output and 66 for the tactical version ...I think its a great deal.

Not a leo but I've given them to leo's and the use them.

Romisen RC-F4 II NW Neutral White LED Flashlight "Black"

Romisen RC-C3 II NW Neutral White LED Flashlight "Black"

They are very bright. I don't see a difference in brightness between these and the Polystinger C4 LED.

They also can take the rechargeable CR123A's which is rare because the voltage is different between the RCR and the regular. For $20 it was hard to pass up. The small one gets the most use. It says "twisty" but it can be set so tthat it's momentary switch. I have yet to get a bad light from them.

Take a look at "Fenix" brand lights. The TK-11 is great and can be had for around $70 in the internet. A couple of previous threads have gone over lights before, just go back a couple of years.
This isn't Burger King, you are not going to get it your way.
