    Sig P220 Elite Dark w/ Rail-HOLSTER DILEMMA

    Hey guys,

I've been carrying a Sig P226 (40 Cal) and now a Sig P220 since my start in police work and have used the same holster for both weapons. I have two duty belts (My full time job requires nylon)-yuck...

Back to the point: I currently own one Blackhawk Serpa holster for each duty belt plus a Level 2 Serpa for off duty/court.

The new Sig Sauer P220 Elite Dark will not fit into these holsters, nor will the Sig Sauer P220 Stainless. As I look at Blackhawk's website, there is only one holster offered for the Sig P220.

Am I over looking something or what's the deal? I have been using the Serpas for a couple of years now and I am trained to use those holsters so I definitely don't want to switch to a safariland or other manufacturer. Has anybody rectified this problem?

I am taking a week-long NTOA tactical pistol course in September so I'd like to get this sorted out ASAP, especially considering the time lapse that I'm going to be dealing with for my uniform voucher and a slow equipment shop.

    Looking for some help!
