I highly recommend the Streamlight M6 tactical illuminator flashlight/laser combo. Makes a huge difference to your shooting and if you work Graves, it's indespensible.

Blessed are the Peacemakers...
The only thing you need to be aware of is the laser's point of aim tends tonot hold zero well. Keep on top of it.
Also, I have not been pleased with some of Streamlight's customer service. A few guyson my team have had their M6s go down very quickly and Streamlight gave nothing more than lip service. I was very happy with my M3 nad have had my M6 for almost a year. Their treatment of my team members leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
Also, the LED versioons may be the way to go, these days. I go through my bulbs prerrt quickly... a couple times a year.

You can buy them and replace them very easily. It just stinks that you have to. BTW, I am referring to the flashlight bulb and not the laser bulb.
Guys on my team had the laser fail and Streamlight would not do squat! They were less than 6 months old! One of the guys is a shield guy and needs the laser more than most of us. :(

Have you tried Surefire?
Indiana: More Pro-Gun Than Texas
I think surefires are the tops bro!
Even though I have a ultrastinger bwhaha :D

I have tried the Surefire. A buddy on my team got oner to T&E. The lumens rating does not make it a lot brighter than the M3/M6, but it is a much whiter light, making the M3/M6 look almost yellow. Then, typical for Surefire, it is focused really well. The unit feels alot more "solid" too. I can't wait to get mine! It's a great light!

I have the M-3 and what I always thought that what would be neat would be a dummy light with the same weight and size that you could put on when qualifying or shooting in the daytime. That way, practice would be consistent without the uneccessary wear and tear on the lights.
Anybody ever heard of anyone selling anything like that?
With the LED, I would worry about this a lot less.

Will the LED light fit gun holsters designed for the M-3?
I think the new M3 LED will not. However, the Surefire X200 is siad to fit holsters designed for the M3. It is a little flatter, but I think it is the same width.

Surefire's customer service blows big time, talk about lip service. I won't even go there. I know a lot of vendors won't even sell the product cause of their service and sales reps beign total jagg offs. The up and comign company is Pelican, they are wrkign on a rail mounted light for the service pistol's.

My X200 came in today. As I have heard from others (inclduing a teammate), the X200 fits in my Safariland 6004 made for my MS without any problem. It is flatter, but because the width is about the same, it fits just fine. There is no wobble, as I expected. I know that the models designed for the M6 is too loose for the X200, though.
That being said, I imagine one designed specifically for the X200 would be a little better. The Sidearmor holster I ordered is for the X200, specifically. That holster will be for duty carry. The Safariland 6004 (designed for the M3) fits the bill just fine for my uses. I just need to pull my 6004 for my M6 off my tac belt and retire it.![]()

So your X200 fits in your 6004 designed for a Glock 22 sized gun with an M-3?
Cause that's what I have and I might get one if I don't have to change all my holsters. I also have a BladeTech belt holster for my G22/M3 combo. You haven't heard if that will fit the X200 or not, have you?
