Duty Belt Suspenders

Does anyone have a brand recommendation for duty belt suspenders? Currently, no one in our dept wears them, but with a lower back problem, I'm looking into trying them out.

K&W is the best in my opinion. I have been wearing mine for almost two years now and I have not had a single problem nor have I had to adjust them once since I bought them. K&W is what most PD's are issued in Washington.

I'm sure you can find other sites to buy these at but I'm not sure where. You also need the keepers for the suspenders but I think there together if you buy them from this store.

P.S. Stay away from the uncle mike brand suspenders.

Thanks for the advice. I was looking at the Uncle Mike's earlier, but those look better. I've been in plain clothes for the past several years, but am looking at the possibility of going back to uniform.

I bought the uncle mike suspenders before I bought the K&W pair and absolutely hated them. I only wore them a handful of times and got rid of them.

I remember having to readjust them every time I put them on and I had to tape the keepers down. Every time I straightened my back the keepers would come undone from the belt and I had to put them back in place.

I had a couple co-workers that had the same problems as well.

K&W would be the best bet for suspenders. A Police Officer owned Cop shop carries them in Clackamas, Oregon. Extreme Products: extreme-products.net[/url], if they are not on the web site call them and they can take care of you! They carry more in the store than the web site, but are continuing to add stuff the site as well.
