    Velcro duty belt

I got a Safariland duty belt with the inner velcro strip. I just ordered a velcro inner belt. So in theory they say you don't need belt keepers and it's very secure.

Does anyone have experience with this belt system? Pros..cons?

I have similar myself, I've used it with and without keepers.

Personally, due to the fact that I am a midget, using the keepers makes it easier for me and the belt actually stays in place better. In fact, it felt downright weird and did not move right without the keepers.

But I am not sure if it matters for "normal sized" folks, but it helps midget me ;)

We have the same setup. I've used it without keepers but I'd still recommend them. It will be good for a little while but once that velcro gets used a bit it slowly loses it's gripping ability.

I have it. Used it for a little over 2.5 years. I like it a lot. Use the keepers though, your stuff will still slide around on your belt if you don't use them. Not to mention your belt can still unfasten from your underbelt if you bend over just right or sit down just right.

I have the 2.25 duty belt, and the inner velcro belt. I've never had a problem with stuff shifting, but I still use a couple of keepers so the belt won't come off unless I want it too.
