    Police Ticket Board

I just saw a video for this product and was wondering if anyone on here has used it. What are your thoughts. I'm thinking of possibly getting one but am balking at the $100 price tag.

    Actual conversation with suspect
Suspect: Why am I under arrest?
    Me: For posession of CDS.
Suspect: Man, it wasn't CDS! It was E pills!

Nice idea but expensive. I have 2 lights mounted under my done light ( factory) on my 08 Imp. I can turn one or both on and they arean't bright enough to deter me from seeing outside.

If I turn on my main dome light, that begins to impair my ability to see out at night.

I wonder how heavy it is , how fragile it is , how much are the replacement batts and how user friendly it is to hand to someone when they need to sign for a cite ?

I'd hate to spend $100 dollars on that and have an angry motorist toss it out the window into the road. I use this: http://tinyurl.com/2uy3hz

I use the Saunders slim line aluminum clipboard. The lil license holder clip doesn't last long but I like the clipboard.

I use something similar to this and have had it for nearly 22 years. Sure it is a little scarred and scratched but it still works fine

My hand never leaves my ticket book. As they're signing I have a hold of it the whole time.

I don't like being attached to them or having to reach in the car. I don't want to make them reach out of the car to sign either. Different styles I guess.

Doesn't scratch the vehicle if you have to throw it down.

Sure is nice that I don't have to get the driver's signature when issuing a ticket.;)

I use the same one as mcsap. Have no complaints.

I could never imagine spending $100 on a clipboard. Seems like a waste of money.

On of my partners just received one of these police ticket boards from a Memorial Day ticket drive. It looks funny at first, but has some great features. If you write a lot of tickets, or even if you make a lot of citizen contact, it is a very well designed clipboard. It is very light and detaches from the storage compartment. I always keep a hold of my ticket book when people are signing it anyway.

Supposedly the agencies in my area are getting the e-ticket system. You scan the license choose the violation and print the ticket out. My agency must first put laptops in all the cars:(
