This flashlight was mentioned in Police magazine this month.
It uses ultra-capacitors, and has a runtime of 90 (low output) or 25 minutes (high output) between two minute charges. It is advertised to give off a maximum of 200 lumens of output.

More information should be available at Shot Show 2008, and I will post more when I find out about it.
If the price and performance are right, I can see this becoming the new favorite light for officers everywhere.
Based solely on the information found on the company's website, what I like:
- Output (200 lumens is nice.)
- Charge time (Use it up, put it in the cradle, and it ready to go a couple of minutes later. No need for extra battery sticks.)
- Low maintenance (no replaceable parts)
What I don't like:
- Microprocessor control (Adding complexity to something as vital as a flashlight could have disastrous results.)
- Power save mode (I think most officers would prefer to have full output for as long as possible.)
- Cost (I haven't seen an official price yet, but given how new it is, I doubt it will be cheap. Edit: a source on CPF says it will be $229, so approximately the same market as the Gladius.)
