    How this area works...

Because of so many requests, and to stay competitive with our rivals (we hope anyway, lol), I've decided RP will start building a database of personal reviews on equipment for other officers, or merely anyone that's wants to learn about a certain item before purchasing it.

    Here's how it works...

Your "Subject" must have the Brand and Model that you want to talk about (i.e. Smith & Wesson .357, Model: 386 Revolver). Also, as this area builds, please search for your particular model before starting a new thread. If that model has already been posted, simply add to that thread (PLEASE DO NOT start a NEW thread on it).

Please do not clog up these threads with conversation, just your opinion on them (In other words, if you want to debate an item for example, please take it into the General Topics area, and not here. This is so viewers can quickly find what they're looking for without having to sort through comment after comment.

Your post can include anything you like (i.e. your opinion on the product, how much it sells for and what you can get it at, feel, etc).

    Duty Suspenders

As a patrolman in a fairly busy part of town I am always on the move and always complaining of back pain. My doc suggested duty suspenders.

I purchased Uncle Mikes Duty Suspenders(nylon). There were a few others before me that purchased them and now no longer wear them. My buddy wore them one night, he got into a foot chase and a fight and damn near lost his entire belt due to the break away feature on the suspenders. I too have pretty much stop wearing them because they are always coming unsnapped and are just a pain. Im curious if anyone else wears them and provide suggestions to improved wear without the straps flapping in the wind
