Safariland 6280 Fine-Tac SLS Hooded Level II Duty Holster

Any one use this holster and have any reviews? I need to get a new holster and was looking at this one

You can also get the 6001 sentry to make is a level III and also add the m3 light option. The total price would be $184 including shipping from safariland. I just got off the phone with them before logging on, not trying to be a know it all.

Anyone know of a cheaper price?

Dont really need the level III or light since most of the time I wont have the weapon on.. mainly will just have weapon on for going to and from intake and on prisoner transports.. But when i go to a sworn position i may want it.. so ugh i dont know

I have two of these holsters. One for duty, and a thigh holster for tactical team. I decided on this holster for the simple fact that it is the only holster I have found that allows you to keep a M3 light attached to the gun. The holster allows for a really fast draw, but it is a little less retention than ideal. I tried the 6001 sentry attachment, but didn't like it. I practiced quite a bit, but felt like it made for a slow drawing level III. I happen to have a basically brand new duty 6280 that fits the Glock 22 with a M3 light. I'm selling it because I now work for a dept. that issued me a H&K. If this by chance is what your looking for...let me know.

These are CBP's issued holsters. I love it, I think it's one of the best holsters I've ever had on a duty rig!
