A friend of mine just bought a loaded Dodge SRT-4. Turbocharged 4 banger. FAST!!!

Dude! My WRX wagon will smoke that! The sti is just stupid fast! LOL
I have a 2005 WRX Wagon. 2L turbo-charged. It's a super-light AWD speed demon! It can beat most cars on the street. Those that it can't beat, I just race on a rainy/snowy day. LOL
...if I were the racing type, that is.

Well.. all I know is that it takes less clams to keep running than my Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep pieces of $hit from the past! I got tired of dumping money into my Jeep, then Dodge.

Ouch! Maybe that wouldn't be such a good idea for a squad car: http://www.caranddriver.com/article....&page_number=1
Switch is right...the WRX is MEAN....227 horses of turbo'd goodness...it will smoke you.
The new WRX STi's make me drool...are they still 300HP stock? I hear one of those scream by everyonce in a while...I love the sound of the waste gate when those things get going, and then the thunderous *ffffttttwhoooooooshhhhhh* of the blowoff valve when they upshift. *dddrrrrroooooooollllll*
I hear, that if I had a couple grand to blow, I could get my WRX up to about 340hp. I know the sti can be tweaked above 400!
All I know is my 227 is plenty in that little car... and you are right, 121, THEY DO SOUND SWEET!
:D
...and DAMN can they corner! I have done cloverleafs WAY above the normal speed limit! It beats the heck out of anything that 6 Flags has to offer. I have not had this much fun driving since I had a motorcycle!

Well,it was on tv... it must be right.
LOL
Do some research, Butter. Then, we can talk about it. Stock, there is no way. Maybe... MAYBE, with some serious mods. I know some WRXs and most STIs with stage 2 mods are unbelievable!
For WRX info, check out www.rexnet.com , www.wrxforum.com , www.clubwrx.net , and www.wrxlinks.com to mention a few. I know that there are some Evo numbers on there too.

hey man this was the discovery channel, not some podunk channel 4 news :D all I'm saying is I saw what I liked. (primarily it was the sticking of the ground during extremely high speed cornering-the computer control to not spin the car out even when only on 3 wheels) btw, I think if you were to read my title, I believe this is a euro version not a us version of the car. and unlike the other 'rich' cars like the lamb or the porsche it's only £46,999.

It's unmarked and Jet black and looks the dogs dangglies. :D

It wasn't a personal jab... just a pointed tip on how to have a more informed discussion onthe matter.
