Google "Desert Eagle" and read up. You can probably find some pricing on-line and compare with your local gun shop. Keep in mind if you order a gun on line it can't be sent to you. It has to be sent to someone with a "FFL" -Federal Firearms License. If you go to a gun shop they have an FFL and will receive the gun for you. Keep in mind you probably have to pay them a fee $25-$50 to do that for you.

If your hubby is a peace officer, you may be able to get a better price on the weapon if he buys it himself...I know it takes away the element of surprise, but the savings may be enought to buy a holster or some ammo!
