Have you considered Surefire or TigerLight?
Howabout paying the good folks (uber-nerds) at CandlePower Forums a visit? I've learned a lot there.
Oh, and I've gotten to play with a SL-20 XP /LED. It is pretty cool! ;)

Green, was the 20XP LED the poly body or the metal one? (do they even make a metal one?)
Our dept has SL20's, but there are also 3 on the chargers that are poly bodies with the LED function as well. I think they are freaking cool, except I don't like the polymer body. It doesn't slide well into my flashlight ring. The poly body "catches" along the side and I have to finagle with it for a few seconds to get it to slide down.
yep, it was poly. It is just like the sl20xp, except that it has three LEDs mounted on the reflector.Originally Posted by 121Traffic

I had the same problem with my poly sl20. I sent it back after a week. It was either that or peel that foam off the grip. That is when I got my stinger.Originally Posted by 121Traffic
Does anyone use just their stinger 15,000 cp as a primary light?

Great flashlight, can take a beating.
