Is there a better under shirt than Under Armour?

I currently wear Under Armour as my shirt under my vest. It is supposed to keep u cooler.

It is time to replace them, has anyone wore or tried another brand? If so, which one?

    Thanks

I like UA, but I must admit...they just don't seem to last. I have since switched in teh summer to CoolMax t-shirts and UA Cold Gear in teh winter. So far they have held up a year longer than my UA.

One of my Corporals was telling me of a shirt I think made by Nike. You dip it in water, wring it out, then wear it. Its supposed to last somewhere around 8 hours and it isn't wet to the touch. *shrug* I'll look into it a little more.

starter makes a shirt that is very comparable to under armor at half the price.

I have an Adidas T-shirt that's made out of Coolmax and it's just as good as UA and cheaper.

Wal-mart carries them. I've heard some pretty good reviews on Lightfighter.net about them. A lot of people prefer them to the UA because they cost less, last as long if not longer, and work as well. I bought one, but haven't had a chance to try it yet, so I can't give you any first hand feedback.

I must concur with Jay on this one. They are the cats ***.

I have tried Cool Max but they didn't last for me at all. I have UA to wear under my vest at work (when I wear it) or when I wear it on ride-alongs. I hear that Addidas, Nike and a few other companies are trying out a similar line this summer.

Cool Max is just to expensive for a shirt compared to UA. I also wear UA when I work out and it works great.

I went online to walmart and ordered the starter brand for $16 each, includes shipping/tax.

If they don't work out, well I'll have a bunch of workout shirts

    Thanks everyone for your responses!

Ok, I have the shirt in my hands that I was talking about. Its marketed under the Trek (bicycles) logo. I'd post a link to it directly but I don't have 20 posts yet. Anyway, goto Google and search for this...

    trekbikes Trek Cooling Vest

Should be the first link that comes up. I'll be trying it out the next week at the county fair, I'll let you guys know how it feels.

I use Under Armour with my vest as well. It seems to work rather well. But I wasn't aware that they "went bad" after a while. I heard from some source that the creator of the shirt was in football. Is that true? I'm not too savvy on my football.
