    Some new gear...

Well, I was trying to hold out for this. But I could wait no longer. They have been telling me that they would be done tweaking the manufacturing process in a "couple weeks" since December. Up until very recently, they made these holsters by hand. They are in the process of automating the manufacturing. They currtenly have holsters for 1911s and Barettas (I think 92F) in production. I just wish they could get the Glock holster going! Even our SOG and the 50 man task force I am on wanted to T&E (most likely buy) a ton of these, but these guys keep dragging their feet. Honestly, I may end up buying one sometime, anyways. I like the fact I can swap out lights, go without a light, carrry it paddle, belt slide or as a drop holster. It would have been nice having the gov buy it for me, though.

For now I am ordering one of these in black with the sweat guard (keeps the shirt out of the way when reholstering). It looks like a good setup and Sidearmor makes good holsters. I'd get another Safariland with the SLS, but the thing is a bit slow for my taste in a high-ride rig (It is a grat drop-holster, though.).

I am also ditching my M6. Although I have not had any problems with it (besides the laser losing zero easily), their customer service with some team members has pissed me off. Also, I will not be with my SRT forever and will need to turn my light in with some of the other gear when I leave. So, I decided to get one of these as a replacement (planning ahead). The Surefire puts out a nice beam and the LED is hard to beat. Then there is the fact it is milspec!

Hmmm... now...... to just pass the time until they come in. :D
