I tried going to the thread where is say edit (edit/delete message). I was wondering how I could totally delete the posts and threads that I have posted.

You can't. Only moderators and administrators can delete threads, and that's not common practice. It's good to remember to think before you post if you're going to regret what you posted later on.
Uh sure you can, unplug the computer and twirl the cord in a counterclockwise circle. While twirling, recite the Miranda warning backwards as fast as you can three times.
Plug the cord back in and after the computer boots, go to your post on RP and when it appears, take some whiteout and paint it over the offending post
