When I try to access my userCP and edit my details I get this error:
$bbuserinfo[username], you do not have permission to access this page.
This is most likely because you haven't activated your account by clicking on
the email link we sent you, OR you do not have access to the restricted areas (see Supporting Members). It could also be due to other reasons:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page.
Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features
or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
that's a forum feature to allow us to keep spammers away. Continue to contribute to the forum and it will eventually unlock.

That makes sense. Can you disclose what the magic number is or do I have to wait it out?
The weird part is that years ago when I started lurking, I set up my details in my profile, well now I've moved and that info is different but I guess the restriction was put in place after I initially created the account.

Im also having the same problem. My only reasoning is becuase they want you to stay and contribute before you can change/edit profile options. But I'm still not sure what the exact number post is.

As mentioned, there were some drive-by spammers who put inappropriate links in the profile section.
You'll just have to stick around, post and find out.

Thats cool. I have no problem with that. How long do I have to wait to get LEO Verified ? I could't find any information on a waiting period. Thanks Again.
I have the same problem but it doesn't make sense to me. I like to add my avatar and details as soon as possible after I join so people can know more about me.
Are you guys not being allowed to edit anything in your User CP or is it just your details. I can't edit anything at all.

What have the moderators to say about this?
Nothing more than what's already been posted.

So, am I required to wait until I have 20 posts or more before I can edit my profile or does the forum staff manually give me access?
The amount of posts is not specified. Just stick around, get to know everyone, let them get to know you, and sooner or later and somewhere in that range you will be able to edit your profile.
