Just log out and re-register. RP is really not all that inclined to waste his timeto change your username. Your 50something posts and hard-earned reputation are hardly worth the time it takes him to do it. As I said, it certainly cannot be that painful to re-register.
... and with a name like "I Love Chorizo", can you really be surprised that you did not want to keep it? Come on! In fact, I think you should keep it for punishment for lack of forethought. Sorry (not really... or maybe a really, really tiny bit sorry). That's my harsh, but honest opinion.

As I already said, it's hardly worth the effort of RP. If he does decide to change someone's name, so be it. I don't really support it. There are far too many other things that need to be done around RP and they tend to be far more important than changing someone's name because they had a change of heart in what they want to be their username.
