(shrug) Schedule a chat time... One of the other boards I was on picked an arbitrary time for the same time every week, then posted the time in a thread like this one a day or so ahead of time. People would then show up on the board, log in to the chat room, and start chatting. Since they knew it would be the same time every week, it became easy remember the session was on. We had up to 20 or so at a time in the chat room... Good times had by all.
