Hello everyone. I would like to let you know of a few small changes that have been made to the chat.
The chat page is now located on the Realpolice.net Server, so that should sort out a lot of the problems with cross-linking to different websites.
The chat will now automatically grab your Board username and use that as your nickname in chat. This will help to do a few things... it will cut down on the confusion of "who are you" moments, it will cut down on abuse of regular Joes popping in to attack the Police (it's happened a few times), and it will make sure that anyone being abusive in chat can be easily tracked on this forum too, and if needed, action can be taken.
Also, you can not change your nickname any further. If you wish to know why, it's posted up there ^^^. ;)
You *must* be logged in to the forum to join the chat. So either set the forum to always remember you, or be ready to log in again when you come back. This is to prevent wanderers from stumbling across the little happy room.
If anyone has any questions, they are free to contact me. I'm on almost all day, and am set to be notified by e-mail whenever I receive a PM. So send one along, or post it here.

Oh good. I'm VERY glad that non-forum members can't get into chat anymore. Guess I'll be chatting a little more often now.
Excellent job!!!
I also love the "who's chatting" feature on the front page.... it saves from going through the annoyance of getting into chat to find nobody there.

It's a band I do some promotional work for. Evanescence. They're signed under the Wind-Up Records label (Creed, 12 Stones, Big Dismal, Seether...).
Their one song "Bring Me To Life" is getting a lot of radio play right now (from the Daredevil Soundtrack), but it's by far not their best work to date.

I'm hoping to catch their show at Harpo's in Detroit next month (August), but that depends on if my ticket request goes through in time or not. The 13th is coming fast.

See, I've never botered to learn all the various abreviations for locales. And also keep in mind that I'm Canadian... we don't have a "United States Marshals Service"... so I can plead ignorance and get away with it. :P
