Why is every police cruiser made in Canada?

I just found out that the assembly lines of the Crown Victoria, Impala and Dodge charge are all in Canada. Why don't they use those cars made in America like the new Taurus or the Malibu (with more powerful engine)?

The reason why most agency's use the CV are comfort, space, and durability. Things you youngsters know nothing about. Be Safe.

We drive the new Tahoe. That's how we roll.

This is one of the older models we used on a trial basis, one in each district. The ones we have now are the new body style, same colors.

I have the Charger for now... and it seems I have this unexplained, newly found desire to watch hockey. Hmph.... think there is a link?

I'm eyballing a new Camaro or Dodge Ram quad cab next... not sure I will be much better off.

I have not driven one, but the CMV troopers say the Tahoes are very fast. My partner and I just got a new 2009 Crown Vic. Trying to roll like the big dogs.:p Be Safe.

They accelerate faster than the CV, and they do haul booty, and testing at 35MPH shows they perform identical to the CV for braking and crash avoidance, but they are a higher GOG vehicle and the way I drive, I still get a turtlehead at high-speed cornering.
