I am looking to buy a heart rate monitor WITHOUT the chest strap. I have never used a HR monitor before, so I really don't know which may be reliable beyond reading reviews.
Anyone know a good one that is accurate, etc.? I'm looking to spend under $150 if possible - (hopefully more along the $100 or less mark).

Without the chest strap, you lose accuracy. But if you must....go with POLAR...POLAR RS100 is a decent one.
