I completed 13 rounds. I am ok with that, considering I did them on rings (I didn't make it to the gym).

Been off the wagon for a bit -- my last go at Elizabeth tweaked my back a little so I've just been running the last few days with some push-ups / sit-ups thrown in.

I have a couple buddies meeting me to do Grindy today. I last did it a few months ago, alone... getting just over 20 min. I think, with people doing it with me, my time will be a bit better.

I am very happy with that. Amazingly, I felt great afterwords... well, it took about 20 minutes, but I feel great.
Tomorrow, we are mixing it up a bit.
I am looking at as many rreps as possible in 20 minutes of the following:
5 Burpees
10 Hand-stand pull-ups
15 L pull-ups
30 box jumps
I was going to have us do 4 sets, but with the guys lagging behind me today (one of which is brand new to crossfit) I think it would be better for moral to start/finish at the same time.![]()

Well, I had 4 min of improvement that I think can be attributed to refining my clean and jerk form. It was so bad the last time I did this one that the jerk ended up being more of a push-press than anything else.![]()

Well, after having to take 3 damn weeks off...I am going to attempt the 4:30 wake up tomorrow, to join yous all again. :D

Wow... I disappear for a couple of days (or a couple of weeks) and everyone just drops off the planet? :p :p
Since I was last on, I've had go arounds with Cindy (16!!), Fight Gone Bad (nasty!! and I have to say I love FGB! Especially the Sumo Deadlift High Pulls), Filthy Fifties (25-something, :D) and a handful of other torturous things the gym owner has come up with. Lovin it!! I hit a new shoulder press PR of 95lbs after a WOD. ...and that lovely WOD called Fran is next weekend. :eek:;)
...and today, was Deadlifts 15 reps, Ring Dips 15 reps x5 for time. 14:36!! I went with 130lbs on the DLs, should of gone heavier they were still to easy on the last round. But considering this is only month 2 for me and my last DL PR was 1 rep of 160, not too shabby.
