That depends on your current fitness level. I believe a reasonable goal would be to run on average three days a week for 20-30 minutes. Eventually working in circuit training, long runs, short/fast runs, and maintenance runs.

I would concentrate on achieving a solid running routine, before I attempt to introduce a calf workout.
