Today I bought a Total Gym 1700. I've looked at one for a while until today. Anyone else have one? If so what do you think.

Never tried one but you have to do what chuck tells you to do.
On a total side note, and I'm not giving you a hard time at all so please don't think that way, but these posts make me wonder why you don't ask these questions before you buy the equipment? Then if someone says it's complete crap you don't waste your money.

I was as D Icks sporting goods about a month ago and they had one out on display so I jumped on. I just did about 30 seconds but wow could I feel it. I'm considering putting my weight bench up for sale and buying one. The stuff they say about the ease of movement, yet strong resistance is true.

I have a Total Gym and I love it. It isn't my main workout, but I do like using it. It offers many different types of exercises and is easy to use. I have had mine for about 2 years now. Have fun!

As far as it being worth the money.....I am not sure I would pay $350 for it. I got it from a friend who didn't like it and I only paid $75. So, worth the money I spent....sure. Worth $350 - don't know. I am not one though who spends a lot of money on work out equipment. I have a bench, free weights, total gym, and then the usual yoga/pilates videos.
