Nothing to show?!?!?!
ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY POUNDS!!!
It sounds like you're having trouble getting your run times down. I know nothing about your or workouts, but if you've lost that much weight you're obviously on the right track. Have you tried integrating intervals into your workout? I was just pimping them in another thread. How about mixing it up with different cardio, such as biking, swimming, stairmaster, etc?
I couldn't find anything about your routine, and I'm not a trainer or a running coach anyway, but I'm sure there are plenty of people on here who could help you get those times down!
EDIT: Okay, so I did some more reading of old threads, I think I know why you're upset. I'll spare you the inspirational quotes (though I have plenty!) and just say sorry. Keep working, you'll get it.

I several different routines that I use from a bodybuilding forum. They work well but I failed the damn bench press today. I haven't been struggling with the press either. I walked in and saw the Smith machine and knew that I was going to have a problem. That's gotta be the worse machine to do bench presses on. That was the first thing too so I failed on the first thing. I feel foolish even having been there.
Couple of strange things though: their scale was not the same as mine - 6 lbs higher - and I was supposed to only have to do 96% of my bodyweight but they put on 99%. Not that the 10 lbs would have mattered cause a 253 pound bench is awfully hard to do. I don't think that 243 would have made much difference. I was focused there and didn't think about it until I was driving home. 9 people for 1 position where 2 were women, 2 are currently employed by corrections and a couple of the others were just outta the military - I didn't like my odds anyway but that's not the point.
Stupid Smith machine.
And as of this morning when I left my house it was 162.8 lbs lost. :D

Ah, from your other posts I assumed it was the run. You know what they say about assume...
Wow! Those are some big pants!
Best of luck, man, you'll be good. I'm not currently applying to any LE positions, but for the job I am trying to get, I currently have almost 200 thin envelopes in a box on my floor, and many many emails...so, I know the feeling. I actually WISH these jobs required a run time and a bench press!
Tell yourself what I tell myself...26 means there's plenty of time.
The bodybuilding forum people will be more knowledgeable than I, but the best routine I've ever used for adding strength is very simple... 4-5 sets of bench press, 12-10-8-6 reps, adding weight each time. Every second workout (not set!), add five pounds. Whether you can complete the exercise or not. There will be times when you cant. But there's a couple of certified trainers on these boards...and I'm not one of them.

Thanks. It was the run and the sit-ups I was on the cusp for. I thought that I had the press down. I was told they'd be using a static machine and I can do whole stacks on those like nothing. I saw the Smith and almost pooped myself.![]()
Started a new addition to the training program today - added 8 weeks to bigger pecs on top of the 13 week fat burning program from the bodybuilding website. Good stuff - it kills you when you're done.

Well, there are other cop jobs, just keep trying. I envy you. I've tried to lose weight numerous times but I just can't stay energized or motivated. I'm lazy and lack will power or incentive and now that I've been rejected by my last to hopes I'm screwed. I always wanted to be a real cop but what can you do! Keep trying, you've done sooo good so far, don't stop now!![]()

WOW...you lost your facial hair too! Glad you still have those tats!

Hubba hubba! :D
I used to care. Now I take a pill for that.
I've always been able to bench more on the Smith machine. On the Smith you don't have to balance the weight. All you have to concentrate on is pushing it up.
Nikon, it sounds like you psyched yourself out. Try again.

Playoffs?? Playoffs!!??? Don't talk about PLAYOFFS!!!??
I couldn't have been more psyched up. I gave it everything and just couldn't move that weight. We'll see what the 8 week program can accomplish with more weight loss.
You bet your *** I'll be trying again. Next time there will be no question about trying though - it will be doing - not trying.

High score for determination and self-discipline.
Outstanding!
