So does anyone know of a 6 foot solid wall in the sacramento area that you can practice on. As in, one that you don't have to be attending an agility test for an area agency to use. thanks.

Yeah. Any of those wooden privacy fences up in North Highlands. :DOriginally Posted by bayareahopeful

I think there are two other schools that may also have the wall, but which schools they are escapes me right now.
PM me if you have more questions.

And HR, I'm a process server here in the area, and the only time I've ever been threatened or had someone lay hands on me was in the North Highlands area. I should add that I visit south sac on a regular basis too. So no, I don't think I'll be trying the fences in North Highlands:D .
6foot! yieks, we only have to scale a 4foot wall during our obstacle course!
Good luck
So I went to check out that wall the other day. So I don't know if the walls on the obstacle courses on Marine Corps bases are simply two feet taller or if they just seem that way because the ground is so dug out at the base, but the 6 foot wall is a joke.
The only reason I wanted to practice was because I remember struggling a bit on the walls in the USMC, but those had to be at least two feet taller, either that or I magically developed a 4 foot hop overnight with absolutely no training.:D
Check out the Sac Sheriff's facilities at the Riverwalk location. Last I knew, they would host practice runs on Tuesday's 9-5 for anyone interested. Although, it has been awhile since I have been there, I believe the course is still in place...wall included!

there is one at home depot just waiting to be built. this one cost me about $15, and took about 30 minutes to build. i have never in my career had to jump a 6 foot fence, so i thought i'd build one just to be sure. it's far easier than i ever thought. now i've got to figure out what i'm going to do with a 6 foot wall.Originally Posted by bayareahopeful

Six foot isn't as bad as it sounds. I ran an obstacle course with one and it was much easier than I thought. Momentum carried you over it pretty well.Originally Posted by rgs83

I remember growing up in my town we had a street of cookie cutter houses. Row of 10 on each side of the road, each seperated by a 5 foot tall white concrete wall. We'd race from one end to the other jumping all the walls :D.
The six foot wall is cake on dry asphalt. Not so much on a wet wall with a mud pit underneath it. The landing buried me up to my ankles in mud. Haha! :D
