Well I'm getting everything in order to leave for 8 months of training (military) and now I get 'weightlifter headaches'.
Apparently they're caused by over-exertion. The muscles, tendons, or both (I'm not sure) at the back of the neck and base of the head get strained and therefore cause powerful instant headache (that lasts for about a minute, completely gone by 30 minutes). This is a self-diagnosis at the moment, but I had I good idea what the problem was before I even researched it. This is really the last thing I need at the moment. I'm going to make plans to see the army doctor tomorrow and hopefully he can suggest something for me to do about it.
Mine was the result of doing push-ups till muscle failure (a controversial exercising practice). I guess I won't be working out that way again. Now I get them doing almost any exercise. If anyone else is having the same problem it would be a good idea to get it checked out. Apparently some headaches induced by exercise can be the result of a tumor or something more serious. In my case I've had issues with neck strain (bad posture) before so I have a good idea what it feels like. Still, I'm going to get it checked out.
Well that's my rant. I hope it'll help someone. This sucks.
