I'm looking for meal-replacement products that do not contain artifical sweeteners (aspartame, sucralose, etc.) and am finding the search next to impossible. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

ok i dont know about the aspartme and that other crap...but this is a weight gainer shake. Its isopure masss and it's amazing. Very low sugar and great to replace a meal. If you take the recommended amount, you get 900 calories. Cut it down as per your diet. I love this stuff man and really recommend itOriginally Posted by reeds
are you trying to lose or gain?
Lose (but thanks for the shake referral anyway, lax854!). Well, to be more accurate - lose fat, gain muscle.
Check out some of the other posts on this issue. You may find better and healthier tips to losing fat and gaining muscle. Shakes are overrated for losing weight. They're great for adding calories, but not for reducing. A better bet is to do this:Originally Posted by reeds
Cut your caloric intake per meal and increasing your number of meals per day to 5. This reduces the likelihood that you will overeat during your meals and speeds up your metabolism (eventually).
Increase your fruit and veggies per day.
Switch to complex carbs rather than simple carbs. Complex carbs include whole wheats and oats. Simple are white (or bleached) breads and sugars. Complex carbs give your body the feeling of being full.
Forget ever eating a fried food again!
Increasing your dairy, but only skim milks and fat-free yogurts.
I'm sure there are other ideas, but this plan is proven effective.

Clif bars are the way to go - no artificial sweeteners, and they have both an energy bar (Clif Bar) and protein bar (Clif Builder Bar). They come in a variety of flavors, are decently priced, and taste great - plus they're over 70% organic, which is a bonus.

Do you find that the Cliff bars are enough to stop the hunger pains between meals? I'm looking to do small meals, five times a day: breakfast - Cliff Bar - Lunch - Cliff Bar - Dinner.
For the best results and overall health, bars, shakes etc should only be eaten when absolutely necessary and if then , only once a day. You should eat real food every 2-3 hrs consisting of a high quality protein, green vegetables and some fruit. Iceberg lettuce doesn't countAs far as carbs go, unless they come from fruits and vegetables, they should only be consumed after a workout. Nothing beats real high quality food. It's a huge PITA but it works and saves you money in the process. The key is to eat every 2-3 hrs!!
Zone Bars and Power Bars may fit the bill. Good Luck
Drink water, youd be surprise how you hunger goes away after drinking water.Originally Posted by reeds

That's pretty hard to find. The one's I recommend is Muscle Milk, Cyto Gainer, and Myo Plex. I work at Gold's Gym so if you need any other advice with Fitness products just PM me.

BINGO. However, I'm not sure if the product contains any artifical sweeteners or not... but I drink it once every night and it always have me feeling great in the mornings. I really reccomend the chocolate flavor. Real delicious.Originally Posted by NY BLUE 86

I did some research from cytosport.com, the makers of muscle milk, and NY BLUE 86 is right on the money. It doesn't contain any artificial sweeteners.

Again... get the chocolate.
Thanks so much! I'm definitely considering Muscle Milk Natural... I had only seen the regular Muscle Milk powder and was disheartened to learn that it contains sucralose... I think this will work in addition to the PowerBars I picked up last week. Thanks again to everyone for all their advice.
